Explore Tuscany on your own terms. Hire a private English-speaking driver for half a day, a full day, or longer. Wine tours, city visits, shopping, events — we adapt to your itinerary.
The appeal of Tuscany — the rolling hills of the Chianti, the medieval towers of San Gimignano, the pristine beaches of the Maremma — is best experienced at your own pace. Public transport reaches the main cities, but the real Tuscany lives in the spaces between: the family-run wineries, the village squares, the roadside trattorias where locals actually eat.
A private driver from iDrive Italy gives you the keys to all of this. You decide the itinerary, the pace and the stops. We drive, you enjoy. Minimum booking is 2 hours; most clients opt for 4–8 hours to really make the most of a day out.
Our drivers aren't just chauffeurs — they know the region inside out and can suggest the best local producers, the quieter viewpoints, the restaurants that don't make it onto the tourist trail. Think of them as a combination of driver and knowledgeable local companion.
Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino, Vernaccia di San Gimignano. We take you to the producers who open their doors to private visits. Lunch at a real agriturismo included on request.
Florence, Siena, Lucca, Pisa, San Gimignano, Arezzo. We drop you off, wait while you explore and pick you up when you're ready — no stress about parking or timetables.
The Mall Firenze outlet, Barberino Designer Outlet, Valdichiana Village. Or artisan workshops in Lucca and Florence. A driver makes shopping much easier — bags and all.
Arriving at Livorno cruise port? We collect you at the dock and return you well before departure. Florence, Pisa, Siena, Cinque Terre — all doable in a day.
Wedding transport, hen parties, anniversary trips. We handle the logistics so you can focus on the occasion. Champagne, flowers and decorations on request.
The Tuscan coast: Forte dei Marmi, Viareggio, Castiglione della Pescaia, the Argentario. Or the thermal baths of Saturnia and Bagno Vignoni for a restorative day out.
Rates include driver, vehicle, fuel and up to 150 km of travel. Motorway tolls not included. Minimum booking: 2 hours. Prices indicative — contact us for a custom quote including your specific itinerary.
